Soshi Night: When St. Noa’s Grace Met Jinja College’s Spirit
Date: 18th April 2026
Location: JINJA COLLEGE

There are school events, and then there are nights that turn into legends. This past Saturday 18th April 2026, our much-anticipated Soshi delivered exactly that—a dazzling fusion of elegance, energy, and unexpected friendship.
The theme, “JINOSH @2K26,” was chosen to represent harmony and connection. But the real magic came from our special guests: the young ladies from St. Noa Girls’ School and the gentlemen from Jinja College.
A Day of Firsts
From the moment the doors opened, the atmosphere was electric. The St. Noa girls arrived with a wave of poise and charm, quickly raising the style quotient of the evening. Paired with the confident energy of the Jinja College gentlemen our usual crowd found themselves in new, exciting company.
The hall was transformed with soft lighting, a shimmering dance floor, and a photo booth that saw non-stop action. But the real icebreaker was the music. What started as cautious smiles across the room turned into an all-out dance circle by midnight.

Breaking the Ice
One of the highlights of the night was the “Soshi Mixer” —a few rounds of group dances designed to get everyone talking. By the dance show-off game, the “our school vs. your school” vibe had melted into simply “us.”
We saw St. Noa students challenging the Jinja college boys to a viral dance, and in return, the Jinja college crew showing off their surprisingly smooth moves. It wasn’t about impressing each other anymore; it was about laughing together.
Crowning Moments
Of course, no prom is complete without a little royalty. After a loud round of applause (and some friendly debate), the Administrative staff from both Schools addressed the students about the day and reminded them that there is education after the party and not to lose focus.

Their first dance set the tone for the rest of the evening—graceful, joyful, and completely in the moment.
More Than Just a Party
When we first planned Soshi, we hoped for a night of good music and better company. What we got was something bigger: a bridge between three groups that barely knew each other a few weeks ago.
We were also privileged to have the Artist Azawi that brought the vibes up for the entire community and lit the moods higher for the candidates and the party bangers.
The St. Noa girls brought a refreshing sense of class, while the Jinja college boys proved that being a gentleman is still very much in style. Together, they reminded us that the best parties aren’t about the decorations or the DJ—they’re about the people you share the day with.
Final Thanks
A huge thank you to:
The St. Noa Girls’ School for accepting the invitation and showing us how it’s done.
The Jinja College boys for bringing the energy and respect.

Every single student who showed up, dressed up, and danced like no one was watching.
Soshi wasn’t just a prom. It was the start of a tradition.
Until next year—keep the music playing.
